Job description
Wild Rows Pump & Compression is looking for a self-motivated, outgoing individual to join our team. The right candidate will oversee and complete the
following key responsibilities:

- This position works proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe working culture and a safe work environment
- Support managers to maintain safe work practices and implement best practice, including providing specialist advice, coaching and practical support as needed
- Effectively communicate health and safety program requirements and initiatives to employees
- Work with key personnel to ensure that controls and procedures are maintained
- Provide support for incident and near-miss investigations
- Manage the input of data into the registries (ISNetworld, Comply Works & Enform etc.)
- Manage the tracking of safety tickets and company orientation requirement system(s)
- Conduct and/or coordinate annual Certificate of Recognition audit and identify opportunities for improvement
- Execute plans to drive HSE best practices and encourage managers and employees to adhere to company HSE guidelines and policies
- Update safe work procedures
- Develop and monitor HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE government regulations and Client standards
- Manage GPS, Hours of Service and Company fleet requirements
- Provide new employee safety orientations
- Managing the workers’ compensation (WCB) claims process by liaising with WCB and ensuring timely reporting of workplace injuries or illnesses
- Assisting with the return-to-work process and overseeing modified work programs
- Ensure all HSE team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Our ideal candidate will show:
- Demonstrated knowledge of environment, health and safety legislation, HSE Registry experience, National Safety Code requirements, as well as best industry practices
- Exceptional communication skills and proficient use of various office software programs will help ensure success in this role
- Current drivers’ license required (will be required to provide a current driver abstract)
- High level of personal accountability, honesty and integrity.
